What a Weekend!

We started the weekend with a nice dinner out in Atlanta with Will and Kathleen and then went to the Hair Boy's 30th Birthday Party. Gran and Ginny had a great night together while mom and dad got to enjoy a fun night, too.

Ginny really likes looking at herself and mom loves watching her play and kick!

After a long day of brunch in Atlanta, a stroll in the park, and a little shopping...both Ginny and her daddy were very tired, but what a cute shot! She is doing a great job sitting up and holding her head up. We are so proud of her.

A Busy Thursday

Ginny gearing up for a nap, but more interested in watching her new mobile. She laughs and kicks when she watches it. We were hoping that it would help her go to sleep at night. It does sometimes.

Bracing for the cold this morning...we went to the library for storytime and songs. Ginny had a good time, but slept through the portion of the time when the kids were playing with the toys. I guess she was a little young for that anyway. Then we had lunch with some friends and then another music class this afternoon. She is very busy on Thursdays.

I just thought this was a sweet shot of Ginny taking a little nap during all the Inauguration activities on Tuesday.

Kindermusik

We started a new activity this week...Kindermusik. It is a music class for mommies and babies. The teacher is wonderful!! We sing songs, dance, rock, blow bubbles, and have a great time. This a picture of Ginny and mommy dancing around for one of the songs. Ginny did great..she only slept through a little of the class. Our sweet friend, Ella, is our class, too.

Grnadpa Kenny

We just wanted to add a picture of Grandpa Kenny with Ginny. This was from his visit after she was born...look how much she has grown!!

Ginny's Visit with Santa

I know these photos are a little late, but I had to share. We had a family friend come over and take pictures of Ginny with Santa....does Santa look a little familiar...maybe Granddaddy!! I think Santa and Ginny enjoyed their photo shoot.

The new year has gotten off to a great start. Ginny is growing and becoming more and more alert everyday. She is laughing, smiling, and sleeping through the night!! We are excited about all three.

Ginny's New Tricks

These are some pictures of Ginny's new tricks...she loves looking at herself in the mirror hanging from her activity mat. She laughs and smiles at herself and she looks adorable!! The other watermelon mat is her "tummy time" mat. She lifts her head at first and then just chews the melon after that. Then of course she takes a break and rests on the melon as a pillow.

Ginny had her first round of immunization shots this week. She did great, but I cried. She weighed in at 13lbs 13oz and 24 1/2 inches long. She is a growing girl!! She was in the 97% in both height and weight.

Ginny is going to her first birthday parties this weekend...her cousin, Molly, and her dad. We are looking forward to both.
