Memorial Weekend
This weekend we spent the weekend at Lake Frances, a pond lake near Dalton. Ginny had a few "firsts" this weekend. You can see she is trying the sippy cup out and doing ok. She wanted the juice, but I am not sure how much she actually got. She was very determined. She also put her feet in the swimming pool for the first time and really liked that. I do not think we will have a problem when we go to the beach next week. She also rode in a golf cart and loved it. She just looked around and was observing everything she saw. We had a great time hanging out with friends and family for the weekend!

Busy Weekend
This weekend was wonderful!! It was our first Mother's Day and we began celebrating on Friday night. Gran and Dot Dot came to baby sit while Wes and I went to dinner with friends in Atlanta....what a great treat! Ginny had a fun time and so did her parents. On Saturday, we enjoyed the nice weather and played outside and watched as Ginny tried to sit up by herself. She is almost there. She can balance for a little while. Sunday, Ginny let Mommy sleep in and then we went shopping for some new toys. Ginny got a new JEEP walker. She was more interested in eating the pieces than walking in it. After the shopping, grandmommy, granddaddy, uncle Will and aunt Kathleen came over for dinner. We all had fun.
Today Ginny had her 6 month check-up and she is doing great! The doctor said that she was doing growing and looked good. She now weighs almost 19 lbs (19 lbs 15 oz) and is 27 1/2 inches long. This still puts her in the 90-95 % in both height and weight. She did have to get some shots, but they did not seem to affect her mood much today. She had a play date this afternoon and was able to play with her friend, Ella.

Rolling, Rolling
So sad...we had our last Kindermusik class on Thursday. Here is Ginny ready to go and sing for the last time. We will re-enroll for the Fall. Wes came to the last class, and I think he is glad Ginny is participating, but he did not really get into the class. He did like seeing his girl have fun!

Ginny is now eating cereal for breakfast, and here she is trying peas for dinner. She is willing to eat them, but I am not sure how much she likes them.

Ginny is now rolling from her back to stomach, and then from stomach back onto her back. She will roll to get a toy at the other end of the blanket. She loves it!
