The Aquarium

Yesterday we went to The Aquarium in Chattanooga with grandmommy and granddaddy. Ginny really liked it. She lasted about 1 1/2 hours, and that was about as long as grandmommy and I wanted to stay. She liked watching the fish by her in the glass tank and she tried to touch a few at first in an open air pond. She also saw butterflies and granddaddy caught one. We had lunch outside and then went shopping for a little bit....a big day.

St. Simons

This weekend Ginny and I went to visit a friend in St. Simons. My friend, Staci, just had a baby, Landri, and we wanted to meet her and play at the beach. Landri is just precious. She and Ginny did not play much, but Ginny did try to grab her leg a few times. However, Ginny loved the beach again. She loved the waves and especially the sand. She would cry when I put her back in her stroller to leave the beach. She was happy digging in the sand and eating a little sand, too. She was a great sport all weekend...I took her to lunch, in and out of clothes stores, and even may her do a "photo shoot" one morning. Thanks Staci, Jeff, and Landri for letting us move in for the weekend. We hope to see you soon.

Busy Week

Lunch in Atlanta with friends...Lauren and Will Blair, Jenny and James Floyd, Lindsey and Merrit, and Ginny and Macie.

Wow!! We have been busy this week. We had playdates with our friend, Ella, on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday we went to play with Lucy. On Thursday, Ginny, mommy, and grandmommy went to Columbus to visit with cousins Dori, Lucy, and new baby Rand. Ginny loved playing with her cousin, Lucy. They had fun "sharing" some of Lucy's balls. (As you can see in the pictures) Today we met some friends for lunch in Atlanta. What a crazy lunch with 4 kids!! They were great and it was fun for the moms to catch up.

Along with all our playing this week, we have also had Kindermusik summer camp in the afternoons. Ginny is a seasoned Kindermusik student and has really loved it this week.

This weekend we are off to St. Simons to see another friend for Ginny and mommy.

Playing with Friends

This week we have been busy playing with friends. On Tuesday we went to Dalton to see a family friend and her little boy. The moms used to play together, so we thought it would be fun to let the kids the play together, too. They had a good time and Jack showed Ginny how to play with some big boy toys.
Today we went "swimming with our friend, Ella, at her house. The girls had a great time!! They chewed on every toy they had and Ginny loved playing with a bucket and then dumping the water on herself.

Also, Ginny has a new top tooth! It just poked out..I saw it yesterday!!!

Happy 4th of July!

This weekend we spent time out at Lake Frances..we had a great time. Ginny had lots of friends to play with and so did mommy and daddy. Ginny swam, rode in a parade, strolled around the lake, played with friends and cousins, and had fun!! We are so lucky to have such and kid friendly place to spend time and it even seemed like a mini-vacation. The weather was perfect for all the outdoor activities planned. We want to thank grandmommy, granddaddy, aunt Kathleen, uncle Will, gran, and Michael for playing with Ginny and helping her have a great 1st 4th of July!!
