Dinnertime!

Wes got some shots of Ginny enjoying her dinner last night. She was eating spaghetti and you can tell she liked it very much! We headed straight to the bath afterwards. Mom was prepared and took off her shirt before she even began!
You better not touch my food.

Ginny has got two of her favorite things and insists on pushing/pulling them at the same time.

15 month checkup

Here are some random shots of last weekend. Wes and I went to Cashiers, NC with some friends, while Ginny stayed in Dalton. We got lots of snow, too!!

Monday we went to the doctor for Ginny's 15 month checkup, and here are the results:

height: 33 inches

weight: 26 lbs

head circumference 18 1/2 inches

Her height is in the 99 percentile and weight in the 95 percentile, but both are on track for each other. Her height is right for her weight. This was a "well" child check-up, but the rest of the week Ginny was not a well child. She has had a terrible runny nose and cough all week. She was not herself until the weekend. I am so glad that she is back to herself. She was able to enjoy the wonderful weather this weekend!!!

Thanks to grandmommy for coming to help take care of Ginny this week while she was sick!!!

Guess What......

Ginny is practicing feeding her baby doll and giving her a big hug!
Must make sure Baby gets her milk and her pacifier is not far behind.

She is going to be a BIG SISTER!!! We are expecting an addition to the Hackney family in late August! We are all excited and you can see that Ginny is getting some early practice for her new brother or sister.
