Weekend

Today marked Mary Beth's one month birthday. We went to the doctor last week for a 4 week check-up and she weighed in at 9 lbs 2 oz and measured 21 1/2 inches long. She had growing and doing well the doctor said. Trying out a pumpkin outfit.

This past Sunday Baby Cousin William was baptized in Atlanta. We took Ginny and left Mary Beth at home with Gran. William did great and we all had a good time. Wes has the honor of being William's Godfather.

Friday night we had 2 families over for pizza and play. As you can see Ginny is enjoying her dinner. This was after she sat with her friends and ate...now she is trying to get a bite from her dad, too.

This is one of Ginny's favorite things to do now...change her baby's diaper and feed her baby. It is actually very cute to listen to her talk to her baby and care for it.

Sisters

Here is a picture of the first bath for Mary Beth...the attempt did not go well. I had forgotten how hard it was to give a newborn a bath. It is a two man job, even though the baby is so small. The baths since this one have gone much better.
Ginny looking at Mary Beth and wanting to get her hands on her. You can see that she has shared her "d-d" with Mary Beth and that is a big accomplishment. She usually will not let those out of her hand without at fight. Mary Beth must be pretty special to Ginny.

Ginny also tried to share her snack with her sister...again she does not do that with just anyone!

First Haircut

We took Ginny to get her first haircut on Tuesday and you can see that she did not like it at first. She cried when they put the cape on her, but then calmed down when they gave her a snack and she was watching CARS on the tv in front of her.

Finiashed product...just shaped up in the back and in the front. I tlooks great!

Weekend Fun

This weekend was our first official weekend as a family of four. We had a good time and we managed to keep both girls entertained for the majority of the weekend.

Katie and Molly came with Anna to meet Mary Beth on Monday, but played with Ginny the whole time they were here. All girls had a good time and Ginny was sad to see them leave. We hope to see them again soon.

Ginny and Mommy had picnic in the yard on Sunday.

Will, Kathleen, and Baby Cousin William came on Sunday night for dinner. This was an attempt to get a picture of all the cousins together. Mary Beth is covered up, but this was the best we could do at this point.

Ginny loved having William in her chair. She wanted him to stay there all night so she could read to him.
